In the past year, Apple has released lots of new products, including a new Apple Watch, a new Macbook, a new iPhone SE, and the iPhone 14 will come out in September. After the iPhone 14 comes out, there will be a new update on the previously released phones. The most recent iPhone, which is the 13, will also be discussed.

The most recent Apple Watch to be released was the Apple Watch Series 7. It was available to buy in October of 2021.  It has a display at 44 mm, where the past Apple Watches are 40mm. This series also charges at a faster rate then previous models, and it has 18 hours of battery life. It comes in five different colors: Midnight, Starlight, Green, Blue, and (PRODUCT)Red. It also has a lot more durability than the last few watches. This watch in particular is best for tracking health, and it has more premium finishes. This product is a little outdated now, so as you can tell it is time for an upgrade. It is currently retailing for $399.

In addition to this release, a new MacBook came out this summer, the MacBook 13 Pro. It has 20 hours of battery life, and a lot more storage than previous models at 512GB, 1TB, or 2TB. It has a cooling system built in for when it becomes overheated, and it also has a facetime camera. Being the newest MacBook, it is best used for photo and video editing on the go, and some light gaming. It is currently retailing for $1300.

Apple also just made a 3rd version of the iPhone SE. It has an upgraded camera compared to the past SE, and it has the inner workings of an iPhone 13 with the body of an iPhone 8. It comes in 3 different colors: Midnight, Starlight, and (PRODUCT)Red. The starting retail price is currently $430.

The most recent iPhone to be released was the iPhone 13. There is a Mini, a Pro, and a Pro Max version of this phone. There are a lot of new features in this iPhone, such as a drag and drop feature where you can hold down your finger on anything and move it onto another app, an animated background where you can set your lock screen as a live photo or a video and when you hold down on it it will play, and it has better camera quality with diagonal cameras.  The Pro and Pro Max have three cameras for even better camera quality. The current retail price is $799 for the 13, and $999 for the 13 Pro.

An upcoming release will be a new iPhone. The exact release date for the iPhone 14 is still unknown, but it is scheduled to come out in September or October of 2022. New features on this phone include an upgraded front camera with auto focus, and a cinematic mode, which is where the camera will focus on the object and blur out the background. This phone is estimated to retail at around $799-899.

After the release of the iPhone 14, Apple will release the iOS 16 update. This update will include lots of new features including: choosing how you view your notifications on your lock screen either in list view, count view, or stacked view, adding images or bold text to make your notifications pop, and have the option to add widgets to your lock screen and your home screen. There is even a shuffle photo option for your lock screen, and it will shuffle throughout the day. You can make multiple lock screens and have the ability to easily change them by pressing down on the screen and then choose your lock screen. These are the highlights, but this update comes with many more features.

Overall, Apple has released a lot of new and advanced technology. The company will definitely continue to do their best work on future products.
