Track Finished Up Regular Season With A Bang
Edgewood’s track and field team is wrapping up their season. The team is going to regionals, and we have confidence that they will be successful and go far. This season we have had many new faces, and all of which are planning to return after forming strong bonds with their teammates. The meets this year went very well for all of our runners. A notable win from this season was that our girls 4×800 team came in both first and second this year, and the boys 4×800 team came in second. In addition, Hailey Teufer, a seventh grader, has set a new school record beating the original 1600-meter record. Her success shocked the coach and team and is incredibly impressive. After summer break, the teams will be back and ready for the next season even stronger than before.

Justine is currently in 8th grade. This is her first year on staff. She enjoys running and hanging out with friends.
