SPRING DRIVER’S EDUCATION

When: January 10, 2023 – May 26, 2023
Times: 7:15 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Where: Portable 5
Fee: $80 check or money order payable to Edgewood Jr./Sr. High School due on the first day of class

STUDENT MUST HAVE LEARNER’S PERMIT BEFORE THE 1ST DAY OF CLASS
If the instructor feels that your student is an able driver at the end of the semester, he will award your student with a waiver for their driver’s license.  If he feels they need more time driving, he can elect to not give your student a waiver and then they will have to take the driving portion of their test at the DMV.  Whether or not they receive a waiver will not affect their grade in the class.

The students will have 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of range driving and will receive .5 credit at the end of the semester.

Student will need to bring their Learner’s Permit with them each day to class.
$80 payment must be made on the first day of class.

All programs are subject to change (up to and including cancellations) depending on decisions made by local and state authorities. Seats for our driver’s education program are available on a first-come, first-serve basis with a limit of 30 students. Students will be added to a wait list after all seats are filled.
