Artemis I on its way to the moon

After several delays, including a hurricane, Artemis I, the most powerful rocket NASA has ever built, launched on November 16th at 1:47 am.  This rocket is uncrewed and will orbit the moon and then return to splash down in the Pacific, bringing valuable data to eventually return humans to the moon.   This mission will last 26 days and in that time has to gather enough information to make the Artemis II launch easy. Artemis I is scheduled to splashdown December 11.
