Swim and Dive

Congratulations to Edgewood divers Lana Schmadeke and Veronica Peters for finishing 2nd and 5th, respectively, at the Regional meet held at Lake Highland Prep. William Struble finished 3rd in the 200 free and Gavin Kirby finished 5th. Connor Brown finished 4th in the 500 free, with Gavin again 5th. The girls 400 free relay finished 4th. The girls team as a whole finished 4th overall, while the boys finished in 5th.

Bowling

The boys bowling team represented Edgewood in the State Tournament Nov. 1st.  They qualified 3rd out of 38 teams for afternoon match play.  They battled through adversity, winning 2 tie game rolls offs, but unfortunately they  came up a little short in match play.  Courie Husbands qualified in the top 16 individuals in the state.   He rolled well, and lost a heartbreaker match play by a single pin.

Middle School Boys Basketball

The middle school boys basketball team finished their season with a dominating 57-13 win over Cocoa Beach Thursday night. The team finished their season with an overall 7-6 record.

Cross Country

Congratulations to the Edgewood Women’s Cross Country team for qualifying for the state championship meet in Tallahassee next weekend. They are the first Women’s team in school history to make it to States. On the Men’s side, 8th grader Aiden Germain qualified as an individual. He’s only the second on the Men’s team to qualify individually and the youngest in school history to do so. Good luck at state!
