Why You Should Not Buy The iPhone 14

The iPhone 14 came out September 16, and a plethora of people have been waiting for its release. The iPhone 14 came out with two extra variations, the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. They ditched the design for an iPhone 14 mini. People don’t know if they should buy the iPhone 14, or wait a few years. While the iPhone 14 is the newest and  the “best” Apple iPhone, is the iPhone 14 worth buying?

While many Apple users think the iPhone 14 is a big deal and one of the best iPhones, they’re forgetting a few things. The iPhone 14 does not offer many new features except better quality to the cameras, not much of an upgrade, and a larger screen (like always). It’s better if you stick to your current phone, and wait for the next phone to see if it has better features.
Apple users also think the iPhone 14 Pro is worth buying due to the new dynamic island feature, but you shouldn’t buy an iPhone just for a few brand new features which aren’t needed. The iPhone 14 also has a better camera quality, both the front and the rear cameras. This isn’t much of an improvement from the iPhone 13, and it would be wasting money to buy an iPhone 14. The processing chip isn’t anything new, it’s the same as the iPhone 13, meaning the iPhone 14 is not faster in any way. The iPhone 14 Pro is $200 more than the iPhone 14 just for an always-on screen, a “better” camera quality, and the dynamic island, which people are freaking out about over a small simple thing.

The dynamic island does not offer anything groundbreaking, it just shows more information of what the iPhone is currently doing, such as playing music, setting a timer, and going on a call. Another thing is how identical the iPhone 14 is to the 13.The iPhone 14’s only difference is how it will never really “turn off” as how the screen is dimmed, and an A16 bionic chip. You can still call and text on the older models, so it would be better to stick to your current phone and wait for the next phone. There are plenty of more iPhones you can buy instead, such as the iPhone XR, which has Face ID and a long battery life, all for a cheap price of $369. There also is the iPhone 11, a phone with an A13 bionic chip, two rear cameras, and an IP68 water and dust resistant rating along with a 6.6ft water resistance for 30 minutes. The iPhone 11 also has a 11.91 Wh battery, and is compatible with IOS 16.

What about switching to an Android? Android phones are not bad as people say they are, and they have many features the iPhone does not have. Buying an android instead might be a better solution instead of buying a new iPhone. They have affordable prices, they have useful features, and they have around the same performance as the iPhones, for a more affordable price. Some good Android models are the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A42 5G, Galaxy A32 5G, and the Galaxy A13 5G.

Overall, any model or variation of the iPhone 14 is not worth it. The models are almost alike as the iPhone 13, they have the same processing chips, and it’s just wasting more money. You should stay with your current phone, get an earlier made iPhone, or even get an Android instead, just don’t get an iPhone 14.
