Team 801 Horsepower seeks funds for new facility

Robotics team 801 Horsepower has been building robots on Merritt Island since 2002. Last year they got approval to build a new facility for the team on the Edgewood campus. This facility will allow team members and mentors to continue with a great tradition of not only building robots but building fine young men and women.

The new building will house space for homework and tutoring, mechanical building, electronic wiring, programing, CAD design and 3-D printing. The Edgewood community has  always made 801 Horsepower your community team. We do “FIRST like a family” and want you to help our family expand into this new building.

This new facility needs funding. The builders have been chosen and a design has been approved. They have members that want to get in and work.

Donations to the team and the building of this facility can be made to Brevard School Foundation 2700 Judge Fran Jamieson Way Viera, FL 32940. Checks are made payable to Brevard Schools Foundation with Team 801 Horsepower in the memo line. Any donation will help. This new facility will help our students thrive, learn STEAM, and grow together.
